Taxonomic revision of the species of Stenothemus from Southwest China (Coleoptera, Cantharidae), with the descriptions of five new species

The species of Stenothemus Bourgeois, 1907 from Southwest China are reviewed. Three transferred to this genus, S. davidi (Pic, 1926) comb. nov. (from Malthacus Kirby, 1837), minutissimus 1933) Micropodabrus Pic, 1920) and singularicollis Lycocerus Gorham, 1895). Two new synonyms suggested, dinshuiensis Švihla, 2011 syn. is synonymized with melleus 2005 singularicollis. shaanxiensis 2004 stat. raised level a subspecies benesi 2004. Five described, gracilis Y. Yang & X. sp. nov., chongqingensis H. Liu flavicollis Ge jindraimimus laticornis which illustrated photographs habitus, aedeagi, abdominal sternites VIII internal genitalia the female.
